HALI PATCHWORK

"Hali“ is the Turkish word for a pile carpet. In this series, fragments that are up to 100 years old were hand chosen and artfully put together. Attention is paid to the harmonic play of colour and powerful expression of individual symbols without taking from their old charm. Delightful works are created that combine an ancient mosaic technique with a touch of traditional Anatolian knotting.
