Tradition
Unlike contemporary manufacturing
processes, the Nomadic works are made without any templates. The knowledge
and skills are passed down from mother to daughter. Weaving is practiced the
whole year round, but only once all other obligations are fulfilled and time
is available. A Kilim is often woven in two parts - each in a different time
of the year - which are later stitched together.
