Patterns and motives, passed down from generation to generation, are integral
to nomadic carpet design. The free use of colour and symbols without regard
to geometric exactitude has resulted in unique works. They perfectly express
the daily lives of the nomads as well as their beliefs and desires. The interpretation
of these symbols lies entirely with the viewer.
