About us About us | Contact | Imprint

Istanbul Ethnographic Kilims "Istek" (Turkish: Desire) stems from our curiosity and above all our fascination with art and culture. Our collaboration is founded upon 15 years of professional experience with a focus on Anatolian textiles, extensive business relations as well as advertising and publishing. With a love for authenticity and an eye for detail, we offer a constantly updated collection of Kilims and knotted Nomadic Rugs of all ages and price ranges. These are presented regularly and offered for sale in our online catalogue. These unique items are offered together with stylish accessories, made out of fragments of this old woven art and developed in our studio. All items can be ordered online or via Fax. Our target groups are both individual decorators and lovers of handmade art as well as select enterprises that wish to share the charms of Kilims with their own clients via special products.

We wish to thank you for your interest in our company. Whether you are attracted to a certain work of art for your individual collection or you are part of an enterprise with an interest in our Kilim Products, we will not ignore your curiosity. Please call us or send us a fax or email - your questions, requests and suggestions will be answered at our earliest convenience.
