In a qualitative restoration, old yarns are sought after in order to find the most accurate colour match possible. Furthermore, the type of maintenance must also be considered. For example, an unprofessional cleaning of a kilim can sometimes result in unwanted discolourations. However, sometimes colour fading has its own charm.
